02/14/2012 Happy Valentines day!! We are enjoying a mild ND winter with hardly any snow. Certainly a welcome break from the last two winters we endured. Foaling is just around the corner, we have one mare starting to bag. Also, enjoyed riding in the new arena all winter, so very thankful for it.

12/31/11 Looking foward to saying good-bye to 2011. 2011 had brought with it many hardships, a terrible winter that seemed never ending, making for a difficult calving and foaling season, the monster flood of 2011 in Minot, ND to which my parents lost their home and many belongings and all the heartbreak that went with it....those are just a few things.
Some of the good that happened....was getting to spend the summer with my parents as they waited to relocate, we enjoyed watching the success of Smart Charcoal Chex, and being able to build a beautiful new barn with an arena were some of the highlights.
As 2012 approaches the excitment of foaling is nearing, we can hardly wait for Smart Charcoal Chex's first ND foal crop, and to watching him show again this this year. We are also enjoying the mild winter so far.....

4/18/11 Sorry! I haven't been keeping things very updated this spring. We have been very busy welcoming new foals and calves into the world. Mother Nature hasn't been offering us alot of help. Our weather has been VERY interesting! Still have alot of snow on the ground, cold temps and a winter storm advisory for most of the week. WILL IT EVER BE SPRING? I work on posting pics of the new fillies this evening.

4/3/11 Smart Charcoal Chex will be at the ranch for breeding the first part of May, and fronm the end of May to July.

3/20/11 Odie had a filly about 3am*** Also we are pleased to announce an addition to our broodmare band, a NCHA money earning daughter of Mecom Blue.***

3/19/11 A BIG thank you to everyone who purchased our horses at the sale! Your business is greatly appreciated. Keep in touch, we love to hear what you are doing with them. And another thanks to all of our past customers who stopped by our pens to chat, it is always good to see everybody. Thanks to all our friends who helped us at the sale!

3/8/11 First baby of 2011 is here...pretty grulla colt with lots of chrome.

3/6/11 Our first mare is due 3/23, however Holly is in the barn, bag full and waxed. Hope it starts warming up soon. Too cold for new babies.....

2/20/11The foal list is posted! And a few other updates have been made. Calving and foaling is fast approaching!!
2/2/11:Will try to be busy adding horses, info, pictures and links to the site. Check back often for updates.

January 15: Our new web site is online, and we are adding horses to it as quickly as we can. Check again frequently, as it is going to rapidly change!
